A midweek business trip and a few early mornings left me a bit knackered this weekend, and with the temperatures showing no relief, I decided to take advantage of my newly refreshed A/C and my Apple TV and took it supremely easy. The items above represent my essential ingredients this weekend. I spent Saturday morning in my bathrobe, Rachel Zoe style, flipping through all of those magazines that I never seem to be able to get to and on Sunday I took out my lovely Schwinn (the same exact bike above, but mine is red and white), and rode all the way up to 110th along the west side bike path.
I also made time to try out a few new places in Battery Park City, namely, the Loopy Doopy Bar on the roof of the Conrad Hotel and North End Grill — I quite liked them both and if you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods be sure to check them out. The Loopy Doopy’s views and the North End Grill’s scotch selection are definitely worth the trip.
