Willing Passenger {Kitsuné S/S 2011}

Impatiently waiting for spring and completely in love with Kitsuné “Reporter” S/S 2011!  Drawing inspiration from Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1975 film The Passenger starring Jack Nicholson, Kitsuné has created a vision of classic, sartorial goodness in a rhapsody of vibrant color — a lovely collection that is timeless and imminently wearable.  J’adore the buttoned-down elegance and beautiful textiles!  And while I’ll admit that the womenswear is what initially drew my attention — I just might have a bigger crush on the French label’s menswear: rolled hems and no socks, polished-yet-casual styling (high note: the pairing of the sportcoat with shorts), lightness of the summer fabrics.  It’s almost too delicious for me to stand.  While I ponder what menswear pieces I might steal for myself, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the boys in Kitsuné in the coming months.  J’adore!
