Effortless Chic {Raoul for Shopbop}

Raoul, a Singapore-based label, caught my eye a bit ago when it became available on Matches.  Effortless, chic, fluid, feminine (but at times a bit androgynous), Raoul’s husband and wife design team Douglas and Odile Benjamin definitely have my attention.  The recently-debuted Raoul capsule collection for Shopbop is moderately priced, refined and timeless.  Perfection.  Interestingly enough, they found inspiration for their S/S line and their capsule collection in Antonioni’s The Passenger, a film that also influenced the S/S ’11 Kitsune collection I am in love with.  Coincidence?

Love the looks, but not the shoes.

Could be a fab casual wedding dress, no?
