**QC’s 28 Days**
In February I will be bringing you daily tips
to cultivate more classiness and fabulousness in daily life!

Day 5: Keep A Diary
Throughout your classy and fabulous life, you should always have a beautiful book where you can jot down your thoughts and remembrances.  A diary containing your own ah-mazing life story will turn out to be one of your most treasured possessions.  Whether you write in it every day without fail, or instead prefer to leave it until mood moves you, diaries can offer special insight to understanding yourself — and make an amazing heirloom to pass down to future generations of classy and fabulous girls.

The beauty of a diary is that it can be any kind of book.  I am partial to Moleskine journals, with their elastic closure strap and small pocket for keepsakes, but truly, any book will do.  However, if you have a bit of money to spend, I recommend you look at the  beautiful journals — with very darling titles — at Smythson.

Stuck staring at that first blank page?  If you are in need of diary inspiration, the Morgan Library in New York has a wonderful exhibit currently — The Diary: Three Centuries of Private Lives. Featuring the diaries of Anaïs Nin, Tennessee Williams and Bob Dylan, among others, the exhibit offers a voyeur’s look into the private lives of some very interesting people.
