Los Angeles Union Station, the “Last of the Great Railway Stations.”
The station opened in 1939 and it is one of my favorite places in LA.

Some of the shots have the station eraly empty, i like that as you would expect the place to be really busy but it gives the photos atmosphere. Must have taken allot of time!

Philly’s 30th Street Station isn’t quite as time-capsule-like, but it comes close. I’m especially fond of the super-long benches that look like church pews.
Yes! I love that station and its benches! Was there a few summers ago. I must return and take some pictures!
